NASA released a timelapse video of Hurricanes Lester, Madeline and Gaston on 30th August, using cameras from the International Space Station. The jaw-dropping video featured an impressive view of the hurricanes in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans from space.

The 2016 hurricane season is the most active since 2012, with a total of 14 named storms so far, including Hurricanes Matthew (reaching Category 5 status on the Saffir-Simpson Scale and killing hundreds of people) and Nicole. As the hurricane season in the Atlantic Basin continues, our thoughts are with the victims from places hit by these storms.
